Thunder Beach biker bars in brief
Thunder Beach biker bars are where most riders spend their evenings during the Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally. Below are the main clusters, bar etiquette and how to get back safely. Event line-ups change every year, so check the official Thunder Beach website and each bar’s own page before you ride over.
Rally venues with a bar scene
The Bike Rack

Hammerhead Fred's
8752 Thomas Dr: a seafood restaurant open since 1995 with an outdoor pavilion for live music. During the rally it hosts the kick-start party and the Miss Thunder Beach pageant.

17290 Front Beach Rd: late pub hours, nightly live music and the Iron & Chrome Collective’s Meet the Builder talks.
Crossroads
15238 Front Beach Rd: a full bar and food vendors alongside the bike shows and audio contests.
Harley-Davidson of Panama City Beach
14700 Panama City Beach Pkwy: three full bars during the rally, plus vendors and music.
Frank Brown Park
The Thunder Beach Saloon tent serves food and drinks with live music every day.
Ride home safe
Most of these spots are on Front Beach Road and Thomas Drive, which get crowded after dark. If you plan to drink, leave the bike at your lodging and use a rideshare or taxi, or pick a sober rider for the night. Ride Smart Florida, a motorcycle safety program, reminds riders that alcohol affects perception, thinking and coordination. Florida’s eye protection rule applies after dark too, so pack clear lenses.
