Biketoberfest biker bars in brief
Biketoberfest biker bars are where most riders spend their evenings during Biketoberfest. Below are the main clusters, bar etiquette and how to get back safely. Event line-ups change every year, so check the official Biketoberfest page and each bar’s own page before you ride over.
Main Street, Daytona Beach
Main Street is Daytona’s classic bar strip and the heart of the rally street scene. Boot Hill Saloon, at 310 Main Street, has been a biker gathering spot since 1973 and is known for its tongue-in-cheek motto about being better off inside than across the street. Main Street has event closures during the rally, so plan to park once and walk.
US 1, Ormond Beach
US 1 north of Daytona is the rally’s roadhouse corridor. The Iron Horse Saloon, at 1068 North US 1, is known for its concerts and posts a full Biketoberfest band schedule. Destination Daytona, home to Teddy Morse’s Daytona Harley-Davidson, plans vendors, food trucks, bars and live entertainment, and the Broken Spoke sits along the same stretch.
Beachside, riverside and Midtown
On the ocean, Ocean Deck advertises free motorcycle parking along with live music and food, and it sponsors the CVB’s short Street Festival Ride from Main Street to Midtown. In Midtown, a celebration with live music and southern and Caribbean food is planned at Cypress Street Park. Up in Ormond Beach, Billy’s Tap Room, which dates to 1922, has reopened after a renovation.
Planning your stops
Group your stops by area instead of crossing town again and again. Main Street and the beachside work well as one evening on foot, while the US 1 corridor is easier to cover in daylight on the bike, with food and water breaks built in. Bring earplugs for the live music, and keep your helmet and valuables locked up or with you.
Ride smart
Bar stops and riding do not mix. Plan your evening so the bike stays parked: walk between Main Street stops, take a taxi or ride-share back to your room, or book lodging within walking distance of where you will spend the night. Florida’s Ride Smart program has resources on alcohol and riding, and the state’s Look Twice message is a good reminder that drivers often miss motorcycles after dark.
Hours, cover charges and band lineups change during the rally, so check each venue’s website or social pages before you go.
