Laconia biker bars in brief
Laconia biker bars are where most riders spend their evenings during Laconia Motorcycle Week. Below are the main clusters, bar etiquette and how to get back safely. Event line-ups change every year, so check the official Laconia Motorcycle Week website and each bar’s own page before you ride over.
Lakeside Avenue and the Weirs
Rally nightlife centers on Lakeside Avenue and the streets just off it. Recent rally schedules have listed live music all week at Tower Hill Tavern, the Sucker Punch Saloon behind it, and the High Octane Saloon, which has hosted daily build-offs and contests. The Weirs Beach Drive-In runs an entertainment tent with music through the week, and the NazBar and Grill at the Naswa Resort has live music by the lake.
Beyond the strip
The High Octane Saloon on Watson Road, on the site of the old Broken Spoke, is another rally-week stop and has its own listing in our directory. Some riders also make a day of a Gypsy Tour to Bentley’s Saloon in Arundel, Maine, which has hosted rally-week rides and a pin-up contest. If you ride out for the day, plan to be back before dark.
Daytime stops
Not every rally stop is a bar. Rally Headquarters and the Lakeside Avenue vendors keep things busy during the day. The Riots Laconia gathering at the Weirs Drive-In has offered vintage parking for pre-1975 bikes along with live music, and a free coffee house at the White Church on Tower Street has given riders a quiet break from the crowds.
Ride home sober
During the 2026 rally, Laconia police reported impaired-driving arrests and serious crashes. The simplest plan is to park the bike for the night once the drinking starts. Walk back to your room, take a taxi or ride with a sober friend. If nightlife is a big part of your trip, book lodging within walking distance of the strip.
Know before you go
- Lineups and hours change every year, so check each venue’s website or social pages for the 2027 schedule.
- Bring your ID.
- Lock your bike with a disc lock when you park on the strip.
- Expect crowds and long waits on the final weekend, which organizers describe as the most congested part of the week.
