About Sopotnick's Cabbage Patch
Sopotnick’s Cabbage Patch is a roadside bar on Tomoka Farms Road in Samsula, south of Daytona Beach, and says it has been on the same corner since 1926. It serves cold drinks and comfort food such as burgers and chili, with outdoor live music on weekends. The bar is known for coleslaw wrestling, which it holds during Bike Week and Biketoberfest. It also offers primitive tent camping with no hookups, and its website lists Biketoberfest 2026 (Oct 15–18) and Bike Week 2027 (Mar 5–14).
Check hours and rally-week plans on the Sopotnick’s Cabbage Patch website before you ride over.
Highlights
- Coleslaw wrestling during Bike Week and Biketoberfest
- Primitive tent camping on site, $30 per person per night
- Free BBQ on the third Sunday of the month
Rally week
Riders visit during Daytona Bike Week (March 5 to 14, 2027) and Biketoberfest (October 15 to 18, 2026). Rally weeks are the busiest time of year for bars near the rally. Expect crowds, live music on some nights and tight parking, and sort out a sober ride home before your first drink.
Rider notes
It is out on rural roads well away from Daytona’s hotels, so if you plan to stay late, call ahead about the on-site tent camping.
