This motorcycle rally calendar lists the East Coast rallies this guide covers, in the order they happen, from this fall to next summer. All dates below are confirmed by the organizers or host cities. Dates can still change, so check the rally’s own website before you book rooms or time off.
Biketoberfest: October 15 to 18, 2026
Daytona Beach’s fall rally runs four days, with Speedway racing, Main Street and the US 1 saloons, and mild-weather rides on A1A and the Ormond Scenic Loop. It started in 1992 as a way to bring visitors to the area in a quieter part of the year. October is still hurricane season in Florida, so keep an eye on the forecast. Thunder Beach (fall): October 21 to 25, 2026
Thunder Beach is a free rally in Panama City Beach, held twice a year. The fall rally brings vendors, bike shows and demo rides to Frank Brown Park and partner venues along Front Beach Road and Thomas Drive. Thunder Beach guide · official Thunder Beach website
Daytona Bike Week: March 5 to 14, 2027
Ten days of Main Street, Speedway racing and A1A riding. Bike Week traces its roots to the first Daytona 200 in 1937, run on a course that used both the beach and the road beside it. Rooms near Main Street and the beachside go early. Daytona Bike Week guide · official Daytona Bike Week website

Thunder Beach (spring): April 28 to May 2, 2027
The spring edition of the Panama City Beach rally. It is free to attend, with the same mix of vendors, bike shows and Gulf Coast rides. Thunder Beach guide
Myrtle Beach Spring Bike Rally: May 7 to 16, 2027
Ten May days centered on Murrells Inlet and the 60-mile Grand Strand. The rally traces its roots to May 1940, when a group of Carolina Harley-Davidson dealers organized a ride to Ocean Drive, now part of North Myrtle Beach. Spring rally guide · official Myrtle Beach Bike Week website
Laconia Motorcycle Week: June 12 to 20, 2027
Nine days of lake roads, hill climbs and racing at Weirs Beach, New Hampshire. Organizers bill it as the world’s oldest motorcycle rally, with roots in a 1916 Gypsy Tour, and 2027 is counted as the 104th rally. June evenings can be cool and showers are common, so pack rain gear. Laconia guide · official Laconia Motorcycle Week website

What about Roar to the Shore?
Roar to the Shore filled Wildwood, New Jersey, every September for more than 20 years, but it has not run since 2019 and no new date has been announced. Wildwood’s shore roads still make a good September trip, and our Wildwood guide covers how to plan one.

Plan ahead with this motorcycle rally calendar
- Book early. Rooms and campsites near the main venues fill months ahead, especially for Bike Week and Laconia.
- Check the helmet law for each state. Florida requires a helmet under 21 (over 21 only with at least $10,000 in medical coverage), South Carolina under 21, New Hampshire under 18, and New Jersey for every rider and passenger. The IIHS helmet law table has the details.
- Watch the weather. Atlantic hurricane season runs to November 30, which covers both fall Florida rallies. Check the National Weather Service forecast before you leave.
